
Therapeutic Services
I offer individual therapy to adult clients who are located in California. I provide 50-minute psychotherapy sessions by secure video. I currently can take Aetna and Anthem Blue Cross insurance plans. I can also see clients who want to pay out of pocket instead of using insurance. I do not offer in-person services at this time. Therapy for College and Graduate Students
Navigating the demands of university life can be challenging for both undergraduate and graduate students. In my three years of working in the university mental health setting, I have provided therapy to a diverse student population and understand the unique stressors that students face. Some common concerns include adjustment to the university environment, academic and career stress, perfectionism, loneliness, and identity exploration.
Relationship and Family Concerns
Struggling with interpersonal concerns, such as stressors in romantic relationships, family, friendships, and/or in dating can be overwhelming. I offer therapy for a variety of relationship concerns, such as navigating the end of a relationship or dealing with conflict or dissatisfaction in a current relationship. I also work with clients who want support navigating current or past issues within their family-of-origin or present family structure. I have a special interest in working with adult children of parents/caregivers who struggled with substance use, mental illness, and/or physical health concerns.
Anxiety and Depression
I have experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety and/or depression. For instance, you may feel overwhelmed by worries, anxious in certain situations or social environments, experience physical tension, low mood or a lack of interest in activities that used to bring you joy. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and psychodynamic interventions, based on your individual needs to help you manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life.
Life Transitions
I offer therapy for individuals who are navigating a wide variety of life transitions and changes. Whether it's a new marriage, a career change or graduation, the loss of a loved one, the ending of a relationship or the birth of a child, I'm here to help you emotionally process these changes and find your way forward.
